American Mezzo-soprano Jenna Clark is a versatile and compelling artist based in Denver, CO. With a love of creative storytelling, Ms. Clark captures audiences with her rich, vibrant tone and arresting stage presence on both operatic and concert stages.


Ms. Clark sings regularly with the Colorado Bach Ensemble and the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, recently performing the alto solos in Bach’s “Süsser Trost, mein Jesu kömmt” BWV 151, solos in a concertized celebration of the poetry and music of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, and the role of Amor in La púrpura de la Rosa by Tomás de Torrejón y Velasco. This spring, Ms. Clark will be traveling to San Diego to cover the role of Ramiro in Vivaldi’s Motezuma with Opera Neo


On the operatic and concert stage, Ms. Clark recently performed the role of Dorabella in Così fan tutte, the alto solos in Beethoven’s Mass in C Major, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, and the alto solos in Mozart’s Requiem as a part of the Crested Butte Music Festival. She was also seen as La Abuela in Manuel de Falla’s La vida breve, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, and Mrs. McLean in Susannah with Opera Fort Collins and has worked with companies across the Front Range, including Loveland Opera Theater, Boulder Opera Company, and Opera Theater of the Rockies


Ms. Clark has been seen as a Tyler Young Artist at Opera on the James, Apprentice Artist at Central City Opera, covering the role of Signora Naccarelli in The Light in the Piazza, and recently won the Sixth Place Carole Johnson Award as well as the Exceptional Mezzo Award as a part of the Denver Lyric Opera Guild Competition. In addition to her operatic accolades, Ms. Clark enjoys performing art song with her husband and collaborator, pianist Peder Sill. In 2024, they won the audience choice award at the inaugural Art Song Colorado Competition. 


Ms. Clark earned her Artist Diploma in Opera & Solo Voice Performance from the University of Colorado-Boulder, her dual concentration Masters degree in Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting from the University of Denver, and her Bachelors degree in Church Music from Taylor University.
